Piquette is the original vineyard worker’s drink. Water from our well is added to the already pressed pumice of grapes and allowed to soak for almost a week before being pressed again. This method extracts left over sugars, flavors and nuances of the varieties but with much less alcohol. Aged one year in neutral oak barrel. Fermenting honey is then added prior to bottling for bottle-conditioned carbonation. To be enjoyed anytime that can be described similar to a Seltzer. A fun drink not to be taken too seriously.
