(from the importer, OK Wines)
Easily confused with a rosé, this red is a beautiful light brick color, as is the nature of this rare varietal. Delicate flavors of wild berries and hints of wildflowers and black pepper on the nose. Overall, a light, fresh and easy drinking red, with wonderfully balanced acidity and tannin.
(from the Nicolini family)
A delicate, light and fresh Rosé made to be drunk young, cold or at room temperature. On the nose the wine is fresh with slight notes of wild berry and wild flowers. It has a decent body, delicate, slightly acidic and slightly tannic in the mouth. Combine with cured meats or pastas that include a sauce with meat and vegetables or food with defined taste (think simple risottos or stuffed pasta).
