This is a new take on their Noiret coferment from 2018, this year with 70% Riesling from Folts Farm. Still a fun experiment in tempering the peppery notes of Noiret with some white grapes, just like in the Northern Rhone.
Vineyard: Whitecliff / Folts Farm
Vinification: Whole cluster Noiret was foot tread and macerated for one week, then Riesling was crushed and destemmed on top and maceration continued for 2 additional weeks. Pressed directly into neutral French oak barrels.
Notes: Bright red cherry fruit with some tropical guava/passionfruit notes, white and black pepper, and well-integrated acidity.
